My name is Andrew Ambrose i am the brother of Cindy and Nick DeFazio who brittany knew. As a Soldier myself it makes me sad to see another fallen brother but also my heart goes out you and your family. i know what it is liek to lose a brother i know the pain you are going through i do it everyday but as times goes on the pain will get easier though you will never forget this tragedy you will start to look at his life and how good it was instead of how painful losing him is. my prayers and my heart go out to you and i wish nothing but peace for your family may he rest peacefully.

To Nicholas' family and other loved ones:  I was just 'passing by'  when I saw Nicholas' photo. (My daughters site is here also.) I read the articles attached to your website here. I am so sad for you all. This was a horrible, tragic, just awful thing to happen. Losing your child is the most devasting experience a parent can have. I know that everything is just so unreal right now. It needs to be in order for you to survive this. I know your pain and your heartache. And I know that lump in your throat that just won't go away, the tears and the shear horror of it all. It is far too soon for you to imagine, but I promise you that in time it won't be as painful as it is right now. I hope that you somehow, some day get the answers you need.  Sincerely, Shirley
